This model will probably have been produced since the 1890's. An example dating to 1908 has also been seen, on the occasion of the 24th mid-German Shooting contest in Gera (Germany) in 1908 (24te Mittel-Deutsches Bundes Schießen Gera 1908).
Verse on the stein's sides: "Sichres Auge, Sichre Hand - Und ein Herz fürs Vaterland"
This mold number has also been used for another stein (a brewery stein).
