Model number 387 is visible just below the upper handle attachment. On the base is a second number (13). Height excluding the lid is 17 centimeter. Including the pewter lid it is 24.5 centimeter tall. Diameter at the base is 10.5 centimeter.
The scene is a typical tavern scene showing a hunter and his dog, a woman and a couple farmers sitting at a table.
This stein is in saltglazed blue/gray stoneware. It is likely that it was also produced in other color variations and finishes.
