A small stoneware stein with a nice pewter lid. The thumbrest is shaped as the 'Reichsadler' [link]
The decoration on the stein is in the historismus style, typical of the 2nd half of the 19th century. The stein was produced probably around 1890 ~1900.
It is of small size, with a capacity of 0,2 liters, and therefore was most likely designed to be used by a child. There are no factory marks, nor is there a mold number visible on the stein.
