The face of what looks like an Egyptian head stares at you when looking at this stein.
The decorations are in blue and brown. The shape, handle and typeface of the mold number indicate this stein was produced by Marzi & Remy, but I am still a little uncertain. It could also be Dümler & Breiden.
The lid itself is of metal, and the tang and thumbrest are of pewter, indicating a make in the 1930's.
