Model 506 by L.M.K. Capeller for R Merkelbach
This stein is based upon R Merkelbach model 506 by L.M.K. Cappeler. I attribute this stein to the firm of R Merkelbach based upon a "D" on the base, often seen on steins by that firm, and the fact that the model on which this stein is based was produced by that firm. Note the similarities in shape between model 506, and the unmistakable elements of design which were carried over.
