comes in different sizes: 3/4L, 1L, 1 1/2L, 2L, 2 1/2L, 3L. Heights ranging from 22 to 34cm.
The original Steinzeugwerke catalog attributes this design to "eigenen Werkstätten" (own workshop), so not naming a specific designer. The base marking on the pictured example strongly suggests that Paul Neu was the designer.
However, in an original document from Reinhold Merkelbach (a handwritten list of their mold numbers) this model is attributed to Karl Gelhard. Until other proof is given, the attribution to Karl Gelhard therefore seems correct, and the found bottom marking "NEU" may refer to a "NEW" finish, or a new size for instance.
