This stein has characteristics of a 18th century westerwald stein, but I doubt if it is. Could well be a late 19th century reproduction of such a stein.
The stein has a capacity of circa 1/2 liter. No capacity mark and no factury markings present.
The ceramic body is in good condition, although I have a slight worry that the handle may be a restoration. The lid is most likely a replacement, and is poorly connected to the handle. The lid is in poor condition: deformed and the patina has been foolishly polished off by someone.
I welcome any further insights or comments.
