Marzi & Remy made steins 1879-1994, this "art nouveau Floral Design" stein is about 4-1/4" tall without the lid. It has a 0,5L capacity mark with #2174 and "GESETZL GESSCHUTZT" on the base, no makers mark or Germany. In 1887 it was required to have Germany on all exports. This stein may have been made for the German market so it wasn't required. The art nouveau style was started around 1880, and was most popular 1890-1910.
