Glass Fraternity Stein

From the collection of Randy Satterfield

This should be viewed with another, similar stein I have listed here [link]
This has a hand blown body with the capacity mark etched in the usual place. This has the Greek letters Kappa Alpha Theta. and below "a wo". Presumably a different fraternity than the other one withe "a wui" and "a wo" remaining a mystery. This one also has a hand painted inscription on the underside of the lid inlay. Like the other it has Heidelberg but is dated 1930 and is named to Barbara Barker. The same "J Rohin Heidelberg" is on the bottom and again is likely the artist or company. Again Kappa Alpha Theta has no chapters outside the U.S.A. and Canada. The colors of the decoration (black and gold) are the colors of KAT and while this isn't it's coat of arms this shape show of on KAT's website.
