The front decoration shows this stein was for Roeder Officers Bowling LeagueBlue Devils. It was aawarded to Dan Byrne for a weekly high handicap with a score of 624. On the base flare it's dated 1954 - 55 Season. On the right side it has the coaty of arms for United States Forces, Austria. The USFA existed from 1945 to 1955 and was headquartered in Vienna.
This is one of two steins I have for the same bowling league. The other differs only by the award and awardees and the finial. They were aquired a couple of years apart, this one from a seller in Canada and the other from a seller in the U.S. See the other here [link]
