Blown glass with consistent blue color.
Heavy, ornate lid and thumb lift. Decorative pewter foot ring, body band, and attached handle.
There is a very light, hard to read inscription on the lid. The stein was either to or from a friend (freund) "H. Wick" and is dated 1891.
I suspect this may be a Theresienthal stein with pewter work by the Joseph Lichtinger & Cie. firm. However, there are no marks on the pewter and I currently do not recognize enough identifiers to determine the maker of the glass or the pewter.
