Alternating panels of clear and acid etched. Front is enamaled with A K (owner's initials). The ceramic inlay says Kegelclub Loreley and has a coat of arms which has a war dog on the left and the lucky pig on the right. The shield's left panel has Alle 9 (All 9) which when bowling evolved from kegeling in the United States became known as a strike. I'm uncertain what the right panel is, the bottom is a dragon. Above the shield a kegel sits atop a kegul, both surrounded by a victory wreath. On the inner side of the lid is the following text:
"Kegelclub Loreley
Addy Kaeuffer
dedicated
To the happy usage
Bonn in January 1913"
