I.G.M. and "1809" on the pewter lid, no pewterer touch mark under the lid. It has a five ring closed hinge and no markings at all. It's blue or turquoise inside and out. The stein is 6-1/2" tall, 7-1/4" to the top of the lid and about 9" to the top of the thumb lift. I read that some Faience steins were sold undecorated and painters would finish them in their house or studio. This is my first Faience stein and it's in relatively good shape compared to some I have seen glued back together or full of cracks on ebay. I was told by a few people it was made in Schrezheim.
