A porcelain beer stein, made around 1890~1900. The front shows a handpainted image of a ship called "Kornelia". The top rim has the name 'Martin v. Strien', possibly a crew member on that ship.
The stein was decorated by the company Hermann Klein & Cie (Mannheim). They are known to have worked between at least 1891 and 1899. See [link]
The base of the stein has a lithopane.
Total height including the lid: 21cm (excl. lid: 15.3cm)
