Blown glass with thick scrolled handle applied. Cylindrical shape that is tapered toward the top with a formed foot. The shape is consistent with the Biedermeier period c.1800 - 1840.
Copper wheel cut floral design.
The closed 5 ring hinge, hollow ball thumb lift, lid, and foot ring are appropriate for the time period.
The lid is personalized with "JHR" and what appears to be a tavern number, "13". The touch mark is currently unidentified.
