Rare Wartburg-Brau Brauerei Steinkrug.
A 1930s brauerei steinkrug with original pewter lid. Wartburg Castle is where Martin Luther wrote his thesis that he tacked to the cathedral door. It is in very good clean and undamaged condition. The strap is tight and the tang is firmly affixed to the lid. It has an acorn finial.
It was made in “Sarreguemines”, in Northeastern France.
Age: 1930s
Anyone know anything more about this beautiful steinkrug, please share with me. Thanks.
