Established by Isaac Leisy in 1873m Issaac Leisy & Co. was once Cleveland's largest independent brewery. Amond other beers it brewed one called Budweiser. Budweiser was not a trademarked name at that time. At it's peak in 1890 it brewed over 90,000 barrels. It ceased production in 1959, largely due to Ohio's new tax on beer.
Marked Haynes Malts on the base.
