Cold War Stein

The front of the stein is named to Jock P. Patterson. It has the German coat of arems with the date underneath, Jul 77 - Apr 80. The left sid has the insignia of theU.S. Air Forces in Europe. The right side has an insignia I haven't been able to locate. It shows a pen crossed over a sword over a background of a nuclear cloud. At top it has in latn "Penna quam gladium fortloris" which tranlates to "The pen is mightier than the sword". Below is USAFE DOX. Apparantly this refers sto a journalistic function in the USAFE.
