This stein gave me some trouble, it was obviously a Marzi and Remy stein (handle MR12) and is clearly marked in relief with mold number 154. However M&R mold 154 ([link] is an etched half liter stein and is in a M&R old catalog as such. Turns out this is actually mold 164 and is listed as such in the same old M&R catalog. It's bad enough to incise the wrong mold number on the base but to have it wrong in relief on the stein body is a pretty egregious error.
