This strange all wooden stein is about 10-3/4" tall, it was turned out of a tree branch and some of the bark is still on it. I'm guessing it was made in the1950's only because when I was a boy I remember things like that in small souvenir shops at road side attractions. It has a decal of an American eagle and four flags, it has "Drink Hearty" and "Monticello, N.Y." written on it. The bottom had a hole drilled and a wooden plug inserted, I guess the wood had a leak and someone plugged it. The inside of the body and lid are fairly smooth and the wood doesn't have any cracks in it. I filled it to about 3/4" from the top, and it doesn't leak and holds about 12 ounces. It's the oddball of my collection.
