J.W.Remy made steins 1864-1966 this "Gnomes Making Wine" stein is 3/10L and about 6" tall, it has Germany on the base. No makers mark or mold number on the bottom. The Beer Stein Library lists it as (X24). In 1887 it was required to have Germany or Made in Germany on all exports. So it was probably made 1887-1949, before it was called West Germany.
