Reinhold Merkelbach made beer steins 1882-2007, this totally unmarked #4126 Kellermeister or Bartender stein is about 8" tall. It was probably made in West Germany, but what I really like about it, he appears to be walking. I don't recall any other character stein that looks like it is walking. This Kellermeister was also made larger as a cookie jar #626.
