2023 annual commemorative Wiesn Wirte stein designed by the graphic artist Rudi Skukalek. The image depicts a (Hirsch) stag with 15 ribbons and medals hanging from its antlers, one medal for each of the fest tents at the 2023 Oktoberfest. The lid also has an image of a stag.

A press spokesman for the Wirte association says „With this stein every Oktoberfest guest can drink his beer directly from the stag (Hirschen). The „Hirsch“ is a play on words as the 200 liter wooden kegs holding the Oktoberfest beer are also called „Hirschen“ in Bavaria. It is believed the large kegs got the name „Hirschen“ because they weigh about the same as a dressed out stag (Hirsch). A 10 liter keg is called a „Haserl“ (little rabbit) and a 50 liter keg is called a „Reherl“ (little deer)
