Eckhardt & Engler made steins 1918-1971, this #550 Tyrolean man is about 8-1/2" tall. This is from an original Rosskopf & Gerz mold, they went bankrupt 1917. The original Tyrolean man made by Rosskopf & Gerz had a pewter ring between the head and body. This stein has impressed Made in Germany, 550 and the E&E logo on the base. But it also has an ink stamp MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY this is unusual.
