Cold War military stein named to Hans Garling for Hawk Missile, Frankfurt, dated 1969, unknown designer. The Basic Hawk Missile was first deployed in 1959 and with many upgrades, remained in service for 40 years. The Hawk was a medium range, portable, surface to air missile with a semi active homing radar system.
