Renaissance man with mug. Threaded relief. Unable to determine the maker. Has a mark on the base in script, possibly a J M. The body style and handle are no help, they were commonly used by different makers. I don't believe it to be a Marzi and Remy 990 but am unsure after that. The lid is marked 1944.
