A glass beerstein with a pewter lid, dating to the art deco period, by the looks of it.
On the lid there is a scene of the "Pier van Scheveningen" on the North Sea coast of the Netherlands [link] .
The Scheveningen Pier opened in 1901, so this stein dates from after 1901, which fits with the style of the design. The Pier was destroyed by fire in 1943.
