This stoneware robust bodied character stein was made by Hauber & Reuther in the Freising factory 1882-1886, it was designed by Albert Hauber. It has the HR logo and a 4 or 5mm mold number 60 on the base, quality control and designer's mark. But it is missing the "geseztlich geschutst" mark. It has the proper 1/2L capacity mark with the serif on the top of capital L (very hard to see). It's about 7" tall. This #60 body has been seen with a Nun and two different Monk heads. There is another Monk head without a beard that is very similar, the hair and the skull caps are in a slightly different position.
