Frontal view has texture that simulates enamel painting of details, but close examination clearly shows it isn’t enameled.
Note no bump in handle as frequently seen on reproductions.

The lid has been chemically aged. Inside and outside have same patina.
Nude lithophane is never found on an authentic regimental stein.
