Produced by Rastal as both a mug and stein, both of which are in my collection.

The lid relief, entitled Der Mohr (The Moor), is the second in a series of ten depicting 15th century Moriskentänzer (Morris dancers). Created in 1480 by Erasmus Grasser, the original wood sculptures are currently housed in the collection of the City Museum of Munich. (Beer Stein Library).
