Franz Ringer designed the official commemorative stein for the 1908 XI Deutsches Turnfest that was held in Frankfurt am Main from 18-22 July, 1908. His initials can be found in the center bottom of the main image.
The main scene is the German Reich's Adler (Eagle) with the "4F" crest on the right and Frankfurt city crest on the left.
The lid, also designed by Frank Ringer, depicts the skyline of Frankfurt am Main.
It has an acorn thumblift with a five pin, open hinge.
The stein was produced by/for Schellenberg's Kaisermagazin Frankfurt a. M.
