Germany, Bavaria, Munich, brewery stein HB Hofbrauhaus Munchen, HB logo and crown in blue paint, rather square type with 10.0 cm diameter and 10.5 cm height. 1/2 L capacity mark on side, bottom metal-sheet stamped "M&W,Gr" for Merkelbach and Wick, Grenzhausen, and a X twice.
Domed pewter lid, flag-type thumb-lift with HB logo and crown inscribed "Kgl. Hofbräuhaus München." Number 396 engraved,no cast mark.
