Stein with Dutch saying
"Al te veel is ongezond" is the text that features on this Mettach stein. It translates as "Too much is not healthy", referring of course to the overconsumption of beer.
Most steins carry German texts, but occasionally one can find a stein that was made specifically for the Dutch market.
The mold number is 1526, and it was produced in 1896.
