Tan in color with maiden carrying a fruit bowl above her head on front panel. Two different couples dancing on side panels. Bottom is free of mold marks or maker's mark. Bottom has a "brushed" curving design. Lid has two deer resting and initials engraved in the lid. Purchased in a German antique shop while my wife and daughter were visiting a friend that lives in Weiden, Germany. The shop owner reports it is from the 1850's.
