Purchased from original owner. His unit had these done while stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany during the Korean war. A cold war proto stein. Above the central emblem is "44.F.A. Battalion, below it is DOC. The 44th Field Artillery Battalion was part of the 4th Infantry Division at that time. I have no idea what DOC would be, there are a number of possibilities. So what we have here is an very early Cold War stein.
