This large stein was produced by Marzi & Remy, circa 1896.
It was hand decorated for the occasion of the 50 year anniversary of a singing group (choir).
The lid is dated 8 march 1896.
The mold number 596 is impressed into the base. The stein itself is 35 centimeters tall and has a capacity of 3 liter. An impressive and ornate lid adds another 13 centimeters to the height.
The lid is definately what makes this stein exceptional!
