Regimental Infantry stein with lithophane in the bortom.
Issued to Reservist Rasche (my Grandfather)
Served from 1911-1913. He was later activated to serve on the German-French front in WW1 where he was wounded twice and taken POW by France. He was released after fhe end of the war.
6. Kompanie 7. Lothringer Infantrie Regiment
Nr. 158 Paderborn
Unfortunately the lid was removed by my Grandmother at the end of WWII.
She was afraid that the occupying British forces might come into their home and take offence to the finial as it was a soldier pointing a rifle.
