Both this one and the one in TBSL have a hand written 1467 (and is so listed in TBSL) on the base, similar to some later pug decorated steins with simialr bodies that appeard later. However, this is the same stein body as the prolific 990. I believe that this and other similar steins, with the had written four digit number in black, are in fact decoration numbers. Marzi and Remy didn't use decoration numbers normally, but it makes sense in this case.
Normally text appears in the side cartouces but for some reason these are blank. The text that normally appears here on this stein follows;
