Brüder Thannhauser [link] were producers of "Münchener Bier Seidel in Glas, Porzellan und Steingut", according to this original invoice dating to 3 january 1897.
"Munich beer steins in glass, porcelain and stoneware", indicating they had their own production lines. We know they also bought steins from other producers to be decorated in their premises.
Further text on the letterhead reads "Specialität: Bemalte Seidel, Service, Pokale, Prunkkrüge nach original Skizzen bedeutender Künstler", which translates as "Our specialties: Painted steins, crockery, pokals and decorative jugs based on designs by important desiginers."
The address on this invoice states Rosenthal 10.
Sadly I can not descipher the products that were invoiced. All I can see is that it totals to the amount of 80 mark and 5 pfennige.
