A nice glass stein with a glass inlaid lid.
The body of the stein has a pressed relief, and is hand decorated with gold paint and floral decorations On each side there are small glass balls glued to the body to create a 3D floral design.
The pewter of the lid has a 4-ringed 'closed' hinge, indicating a production date in the mid to late 1800's.
The stein measures 17.5 centimeters, excluding the lid. The base diameter is circa 7.5 centimeter. The diameter at the top rim is just a few millimeters larger, making it just about cylindrical.
