Bürgerbräu Hof J.B. 100th Anniversary
There is a “WM” incised mark under the 0.5 l. capacity mark that I don’t yet know what it stands for?
Really like the bright colors
Simple and clean pewter lid
No marks on inside of lid
The strap is tight and the tang is firmly affixed - Solid condition!!
Clean and no damage anywhere
It is possible there are some small marks but I need to examine more closely?
Original Bürgerbräu Hof J.B. Brauetei Steinkrug. (BB).
This stein is special for a couple reasons:
1. It’s the brewery’s 100th anniversary and this awesome steinkrug is commemorating that special occasion.
2. The 100th Anniversary is from 1864 to 1964. And I happen to believe that “1964”was pretty special. The year of my birth.
So, besides it being a really cool stein, “1964” was a special year for both both Bürgerbräu Hof J.B. and me.
No marks that I could see except “WM” directly under the capacity mark. I’m not sure what that stands for???
How could I not love this one!! Plus the history of BB Brewery is quite rich and interesting!!
I have not been able to find any helpful sources on this stein except the German link below which has the right brewery and the right year (1864) but I need to try make more sense of it later.
