Producer identified as: Merklebach & Wick (M&W). The company dates: 1872 - 1921. Hence, the stein’s age falls somewhere during this period (1872-1921).
The Brewery: Actienbrauerei zum Eberl-Faber München, was Founded in 1593.

NOTE: This stein has several marks on base and also engraving on the inside of pewter lid. Additionally, there are words on either side of the shank/ tang (I CANNOT MAKE THEM ALL OUT).

The stein body was produced by the company Merkelbach & Wick. They were producing until 1921 so your stein is at least that age.

I forgot to ask, what did you see to identify producer as M&W? I didn’t see the usual MW mark. I have a hard time making the letters out on this one. I’m only asking to learn. Thanks.
I recognised the circular mark, even though it is a bit faint on your stein. M&W marks are often a bit difficult to recognise, but once you've seen enough, you'll know.. ;-)
