Adolf Diesinger's factory made steins 1890-1910, this stein is "Six Portraits of Men." It's about 6-1/2" tall, it has a 1/2L capacity mark but no makers mark, Germany or a mold number. The Beer stein Library lists it as (R27). This one was produced in the third production period 1901-1910. In March 1905 Diesinger was issued a patented for an alternate lid hinge. It was used for about a year and then they went back to the conventional pewter hinge. It was different but kind of loose all the time.
