THE BEER STEIN BOOK

Salvator Paulaner Thomasbräu München

Date of stein is an estimate. Based on my understanding of the company start and end of it being a “Aktiengesellschaft” - public company, I date this stein between: 7 March, 1922 to 1937. See link below. It’s a bit confusing, and there are at least two sources with varying dates for this exact stein mark, (1921-1937) and (1921 to mid-1950s). However, I can say with a fair degree of certainty, the stein is from the 1930s. This is further supported by the original owner from Germany who was well versed in German stein Identification and provided the last two images as references, that would be the (1921-1937) period.

Note: I was unable to find example of this mold number 220 in stein marks or elsewhere.

As always, I welcome and appreciate your feedback, especially if you have further knowledge about this mark I discussed above. Thanks.
