Do you see the big mug (Mass krug) in the black and gray background? This is brewery art at its finest, well, in my eyes anyway
Original HB - Hofbräuhaus München Steinkrug.
This is a beautiful and traditional HB design with brilliant colors, perhaps hand-painted, some enamel highlights, and lovely lid of the Towers of the Frauenkirche in Munich. The magnificent (2) towers of the Frauenkirche (cathedral) jut out against the clouds, shaping Munich's skyline more than any other building in the city.
10/20 L capacity and calibration marks clearly impressed.
There are two marks on bottom of stein that appear to be identical, but I cannot be certain due to fading. I have not yet tried to identify them, but I do not believe it will take long as I am familiar with the mark.
UPDATE: I BELIEVE THE MARKS ON BASE OF STEIN ARE FROM MARZI & REMY (MR).
I VERY MUCH WELCOME FEEDBACK ON MY TENTATIVE IDENTIFICATION. SEE LINK BELOW.
*** The marks are MR’s trapezoidal version of the impressed stylised potter's wheel, used from 1879 - 1964.
Also, the inside of the lid has an engraved circle, and possibly a very faint mark inside the circle?
I would really like to learn the date and as previously noted, I’m working on who produced and designed this HB steinkrug.
I will list links once I find the related identification information.
Prost!
