This is a beautiful and authentic piece of German beer and brewery history. The person I acquired from stated it belonged to his late father who was a steinkrug collector himself. He believed it had always been in his family and never owned by a collector, until now. It was time to let it go to someone who would really appreciate it and continue to display and preserve the history it holds, as well as the beer.

I’m really lucky to be the next caretaker of this awesome piece of German brewery and stein history!

I am only recently beginning to take the interest, and therefore the time, to learn all about steinkrug identification. Therefore, I am too green to make out markings that aren’t clearly visible and complete, such as this one.

Perhaps the more experienced collectors out there can help me with this one and others until I gain more knowledge and experience with the identification process. Also, if you can please share with me what it is that you saw that enabled you to identify it, will help further grow my knowledge base. Thank you!
