Marzi & Remy made steins 1879-1994. This #952 "Peasants with Saying," is about 6" tall. It has a 1/4L capacity mark and on the bottom it looks like just #95. There is no M&R logo or Germany. This one has a closed pewter hinge, so it must be an early M&R stein. In 1887 in Germany it was required to have Germany or Made in Germany on all exports. This stein may have been made 1879-1886.
