Rastal is responsible for the manufacture of the Wies'n Wirte series that began in 2002, but subcontracts the production out to Schilz. This is number 2283. The central scene is of the Patrona Bavariae, the Patron Saint of Bavaria as the queen of beer, She is dressed in mid 19th Century Wilhelminian style. She is wearing a large feathered hat in black and gold, the colors of Munich and white and blue of Bavaria. She is holding a glass of beer next to a gold shield with the names of the six traditional Munich beers. The lion, a symbol of the Witteslbachers, sits next to her. Behind are the emblems of the 15 major festival tents and their innkeepers.
The text on the lid translates to: Hops and Malt-God Preserve Them
