Stoneware with a full-color transfer decoration of the American bald eagle in a two-panel format. The original artwork was created by James A. Meger, renowned American artist of wildlife. A portrait of the bald eagle is shown on the left side of the handle and on the opposite side is a full-scene presentation of this magnificent bird in flight. Each portrait and panel is surrounded by an original elk horn design. Cream glazed body and handle. Raised-relief borders on both the body and handle. Embossed half-high pewter lid.
